Four individuals, waiting for something to happen, are drawn into subverting the order of things in a flow of events far from routine. Using the lifestyle of bees and the figure of the beekeeper as allegorical tools, this work seeks to touch—through humor and creativity—on themes that are deeply relevant to contemporary life, such as individuality versus collectivity and (un)sustainable development. In a playful and surreal manner, these themes are explored through acts and scenes that blend traditional circus techniques (such as Acrobatic Dandies, Aerial Rope, Juggling, Clowning, and Hand Balancing) with elements of theater, dance, and video projection.
